Royal Mail have announced their stamp calendar for 2019, focusing on UK life and heritage. We take a look at what’s in store this year.
The first stamp – the Penny Black – came about in 1840, and since then millions of people around the world have taken up stamp collecting as a hobby.
For 2019, Royal Mail have decided to focus their Special Stamp programme on anniversaries, events and popular culture key to UK heritage and life.
This year will mark the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings and the bi-centenaries of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. See what else Royal Mail have in store below.
